Eco - materials

Like a Live-In Lego House
The old model for making a home is to dump a bunch of wood and drywall at a job site and assemble the house in situ. But a growing number of builders, like
Parco Homes and Michelle Kaufman, want to revamp that process and create Lego-like homes that can be snapped together. The modular designs are more efficient and consistent. Parco features a broad range of eco-materials, like the superinsulating window sample shown here, which features a transparent jelly between the two panes of glass to reduce heat loss.
